It was a quiet evening in the manhattan sewers, and Master Splinter was quietly meditating, he. He heard a splash. His eyes suddenly opened, thinking one of his sons had fallen in the sewers. He ran out of the dojo, and into the main living area, to see his 5 children were safe. Yes, I said 5. At this time, a young girl called Athena, or Athens for short. She joined the family...when...

Well, that's another story. Splinter was still staining at the doors, while his children looked up from what they were doing. Mikey was playing with Leo's action figures, but had dropped captain Ryan, when he heard the splash. Leo, was drawn away from space heroes, when he heard the noise. Raph, had protectively grabbed Spike, when he heard the noise. Donatello, who was reading his book, and Athena who was sitting next to Donnie, trying to put her rag doll in her nightclothes, had both dropped there items to the floor.

Leo, who was trying to be brave, walked up to the door that lead to e main sewer stream. Then, he looked back at Splinter.
"Father, can we all go and see what that noise was?" Asked Leonardo, trying not to shake with fear.
"Yes, please can we?" Said Donatello and Athena in unison. Splinter looked at his children, who had been stuck inside. Maybe he could let the, go and see what it was...
"Yes." Replied Splinter, after thinking. "Let's go and look."
The Toddlers walked out of the lair, and into the river of sewage. For a while, they all stared, until Raph spotted a huge floating object, and pointed.
"Let's get it out!" He said.
Splinter smiled and shook his head, but walked over to help his headstrong son. In the end, it took all of the Hamato family, and several peices of rope,to pull the object out.

When they got back to the lair, Splonter allowed his children time to guess what it was.
"It's... A training step thingy for spike." Said Raph.
"No, Rapheal, not for spike."
"Is it a table?" Asked Donatello.
"No Donatello, not a table." Finished Splinter. Do you have a idea Michelangelo and Leonardo? The 2 other turtles shook their heads.

Then Athena walked over to the object. It had gold sticky out things at the bottom. And there was a matching stool. Athens struggled to get on top of it, but Splinter gave her a lift up. When she was where she wanted to be, she lifted up a piece of wood, and a row of white keys showed.
"Piano!" Shouted Athens, remembering a picture she had seen, in a scrapbook of her mother.
"Yes, Athena, a piano. Look, boys."
The rest of the clan climbed up onto the stool, and started pressing down on keys, making strange noises as they did. After a while, Splinter scooped up the toddlers, and put them all in their giant cot. He read them all a story, and kissed them on their forehead.

About 9 o'clock, Splinter was meditating, peacefully, knowing his children were in bed. However, one little ' Un was up. You couldn't hear the patter of their feet, as they were too quiet. But, carefully, they closed the door of the room, and climbed up onto the stool.

As splinter was about to go to bed, he heard a faint noise from the main room, it was peaceful music,with some notes off key. Splinter walked, in, and saw his daughter, Athena playing the piano. Splinter didn't know how she knew how to play it, but he did know her mother, who was very good at piano.
"Athena, why are you not in bed?" Said splinter quietly.
"I wanted to try and make a tune. Can you hear it?"
"I heard it a while ago, my daughter." He said. "You must be tired."
As if by magic, Athens started yawning. Splinter scooped her up, And she curled up into his soft warm fur. He rocked her gently, as he carried her into the bedroom her and her brothers shared. He carefully put her down in the giant cot, and kissed her forehead.
"Father...said Athens, as he was about to walk out."
"Yes?"
"I love you."
"I love you, too. And your bothers."
Splinter sighed as he left the room. He loved his daughter, his sons, and her magic piano playing.
